The inaugural Iowa Creative Places Exchange on October 23, 2020 gathered community leaders from across Iowa to share ideas, resources, and inspiration to build stronger communities statewide through creative, multi-disciplinary solutions. The day included a keynote presentation by Jeremy Liu, an award-winning artist, urban planner and real-estate developer and Senior Fellow with PolicyLink, who shared his work on creating change through arts, culture, and equitable development, followed by small group problem-solving to workshop creative, actionable solutions to issues that challenge creative communities across Iowa.
