Organization and community: Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership (Southwest region, MN)

This effort focused on the community’s desire to change the visual image of Worthington through the creation of new design guidelines for the city. The project consultant worked with an artist team, Small Town Modern, LLC, to solicit community feedback at local events (the county fair and farmer’s market), and to incorporate cultural reflection into the process. The guidelines and standards were intended to nurture a gradual transition to a more pedestrian-friendly environment, one in which the community can take greater pride.
